"Trust in him at all times, oh people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us." - Psalm 62:8

San Antonio Youth for Christ not only seeks to lead youth to Jesus Christ, but to keep them safe as we connect and engage entering 2022 . As we adjust the way we are reaching out to the kids we are in relationship with, in the midst of the ever evolving COVID-19 pandemic and new variants, we know and trust that God will use our circumstances for good, and that He has given us the wisdom to navigate these times. In all things, may we be strong and courageous. May we not be afraid or terrified. May we remember the Lord goes with us and he will never forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6) SAYFC is committed to being ambassadors of peace, trust, confidence, security, and most importantly, hope. We know in Whom we put our hope. For a watching world, we want to encourage. For all of us already involved with SAYFC, we want to be equipped to be a part of the solution during this time. Every aspect of the local YFC ministry will continue, and we remain secure in the Lord and his everlasting peace—on mission and always about the message of Jesus. SAYFC will always be here for kids, ages 11-19. And to do so in this critical time, we recognize there are a range of impacts affecting our ability to minister. Our theme continues in this new season is to replace, not cancel. Our response will conitinue innovative in ways we reach youth, through technology and other means. Together, we are creating resources that will address a range of impacts. Likewise, we keep health and safety at the helm of all we do, learning and growing in better ways to address concerns, mitigate the spread of sickness and fear all while fulfilling what Christ has called us to --meeting kids where they are with the transforming message of hope found in Jesus.
