Big Give

Ever feel hopeless? Over the last six months the world, the nation and our city have lived in times of uncertainty and crisis. Although this pandemic brings uncertainty, we know that our God goes before us. Now, more than ever, this season yields opportunity to come alongside (virtually perhaps) and faithfully engage in sharing the love of Christ to this generation. YFC is committed to being ambassadors of peace, trust, confidence, security and most importantly, HOPE. We know in Whom we put our hope. For all of us involved with YFC, we want to be equipped to be a part of the solution during this time. Every aspect of YFC ministry will continue, and we remain secure in the Lord and His everlasting peace - on mission and always about the message of Jesus.

Our trust is steadfast in Christ as every missionary continues to serve in vulnerable situations with lost and hurting kids.

Usually at this time of the year, we come to ask you to support our camp efforts, but not this year. Like most Americans, YFC is having to adapt to the new normal and we need your help. We are asking you this year to partner with us for our #GiveHOPE campaign. Although we will have limited access to students through school this year, we continue to reach out to teens in different ways.

Americans are in a tough place right now:

  • The use of pornography, which is linked to mental health issues in youth, has increased..
  • Drug abuse and death by drug overdose are at an all-time high.
  • In San Antonio, we are experiencing a rise in domestic abuse.
  • Suicide was already the 2nd leading cause of youth deaths and is rising at an alarming rate.
  • Teen girls, older youth, minority youth and socioeconomically disadvantaged youth are at highest risk for anxiety and depression in the season of social distancing.

Jeremiah 29:11 says:

"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Would you join us to give HOPE to a generation that needs Jesus more than ever?
