ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Student drop-off/pickup will be at the parking lot of Home Depot on 12871 W Interstate 10, San Antonio.

  • Check-in for student drop-off is at 6pm on Saturday, July 21st; departing at 7pm.
  • Arrival to camp is between 1pm - 2:30pm on Sunday, July 22nd.
  • Departure from camp is at 11pm on Friday, July 27th.
  • Return to San Antonio & student pickup is between 3pm - 4pm on Saturday, July 28th.
  • NO BEDDING OR TOWELS will be provided. All campers must pack their own!

PACKING LIST

  • $75-$100 recomended minimum for meals on the road, snacks, and momentos from camp
  • One formal outfit (a nice suit or dress)
  • Pack a warm layer for mornings & nights (pants and long sleeves)
  • Plenty of shorts sleeves and shorts for during the day- it will be warm & we will be doing activities
  • Clothes you can get dirty
  • Light jacket
  • Swimwear
  • Pancho in case of rain (can find plastic ones at the dollar store)
  • Bedding (sheets, pillow, blanket or sleeping bag)
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Pair of closed two shoes for hiking
  • Water shoes
  • Journal
  • Flashlight
  • Water bottle

EMERGENCY CONTACT INFO

Campers are allowed to bring cell phones, iPods, DVD players, etc. for travel. HOWEVER, upon arrival at camp we will collect all those items and hold them in a safe, locked place during the week to be returned on the last day. This is an effort to limit distraction so that a camper may have a great experience at camp.


REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
 

Please read and/or complete the following required documents by July 8th.

The Electronic Medical Record REQUIRES the following documents to be uploaded:

  • immunization record
  • health statement signed by a physician
  • copy of a physical completed on or after July 29th, 2017 if health statement is unavailable

Payment installment dates are tentative:

  1. $220 is due April 7th
  2. $220 is due May 23rd
  3. $225 is due July 8th

Cash payments can be made in person with site director, or at SAYFC office.
Check payments can also be made in person, or by mail to SAYFC office.
